AC Milan’s black third shirt has picked up an A$AP Rocky signature. Red graphics run down the sleeves, while DON’T BE DUMB takes the space usually reserved for a player’s name.

Football shirts already travel well outside football. Rocky’s PUMA collaboration with AC Milan makes that journey explicit, turning the club’s 2026/27 third kit into a long-sleeve piece tied to his DON’T BE DUMB project.

Announced on 9 September 2026, the limited-edition jersey arrived through a launch at BASE Milano. The club said it followed the men’s team wearing the third kit in Turin the previous weekend. One shirt moves between the fixture list and a music-led fashion release.

Turn it around

The back is where the intervention really lands. Large red DON’T BE DUMB lettering replaces the familiar name-and-number rhythm. There is plenty of black left around it, so the words remain easy to read. From behind, the shirt announces Rocky’s project before it announces a player.

On the front, Milan’s crest stays in place. Red graphics build around the existing football-shirt layout and continue down the sleeves. The long-sleeve shape gives those marks more room, making the arms feel almost as important as the chest.

The result still reads as an AC Milan shirt at a glance. Its colours do that work before you get close enough to inspect the extra lettering. Rocky has a strong framework to play with: black, red and a badge that already carries decades of recognition.

A kit with music-video energy

The campaign staging pushes the shirt further into Rocky’s world. One jersey hangs inside a car; another sits across a gold bonnet. The back appears in the open boot, with its lettering facing the camera. It is a very different way to introduce a football kit from a player standing on a pitch.

Those photographs give the piece a clear identity without much explanation. A club shirt becomes something you could pull out for a show, wear through the city or hang up as part of a collection. The crest and the album title share the same garment, and both remain visible.

The release was presented as a limited edition. For current availability, check the club’s official channels. The lasting image is the back: four words in red turning a familiar football-shirt format into Rocky’s own announcement.
