Editorial Policy
Sources, independence and the responsibility of looking.
BENI HASAN covers the cultural world where art and sport meet. We focus on images, people, objects, places and rituals surrounding competition.
Sources and interpretation
We favour primary sources: artists, institutions, archives and original records. Source-based statements and our own interpretations should be distinguishable. Dates, quotations and attribution must be checked before publication.
We do not invent quotations, interviews, reporting or access. Sample layouts and unresearched ideas remain private drafts.
Independence
Commercial relationships and sponsored editorial, if introduced, should be clearly identified. Images require a documented basis for use. Contributors remain responsible for checking facts and rights.
Corrections
Material errors should be corrected transparently. See our Corrections Policy.
